QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must have valid Wisconsin DPI (#1820) License - Speech Pathologist

  2. Skilled in communication as applied to interaction with students, staff, parents, and community.

  3. Skills and knowledge to serve students who exhibit the full range of communication disorders

  4. Skilled in diagnosing, planning, scheduling, and delivering high-quality instruction to diversity of student needs.

  5. Skilled in the use of assistive technology.

  6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS TO: Director of Pupil Services

JOB GOAL:

This position focuses on helping students make progress toward their individualized speech and language goals while aligning with Wisconsin Speech and Language Standards. You will play a vital role in evaluating student needs, supporting communication development, and fostering growth-academically, socially, and emotionally.

Your work will contribute directly to student success by providing services in a variety of settings, including classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one, ensuring that all learners are supported in developing the skills necessary for college, career, and community readiness.
