Job Description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Hands on experience on Oracle PL/SQL / MS-SQL including working with indexes and performance tuning.
  • Hands on working experience in Linux and Shell Scripts.
  • Experience working on complex Data Extraction and Loading nested programs created using Oracle PL/SQL and Shell Scripts.
  • Exposure to ITSM processes including Incidents, Service Requests, Problem Management, and Change Management.
  • Exposure to root cause analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex Data Extraction and Loading nested programs using Oracle PL/SQL and Shell Scripts.
  • Perform performance tuning and work with indexes in Oracle PL/SQL and MS-SQL environments.
  • Execute tasks within Linux environments using Shell Scripts.
  • Adhere to ITSM processes for Incidents, Service Requests, Problem Management, and Change Management.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for technical issues.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to any ETL process.
  • Exposure to any reporting tool.
  • Exposure to any file transfer or data transfer mechanism.
  • Exposure to any Job Scheduling tool such as Autosys Workload Automation, BMC Control M, or RunMyJobs by Redwood.
  • Exposure to Agile Projects.
  • Exposure to ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or HP ALM.
