Job Description
As a Placements.io Administrator, you'll help power the systems behind Best Buy Ads and our growing Retail Media Network. You'll be the go-to expert for the Placements.io platform, helping teams manage campaigns, inventory, workflows, and reporting with accuracy and ease. In this role, you'll work closely with Sales, Media Planning, Ad Operations, Finance, Product, and Engineering to improve processes, solve problems, and support a great experience for users across the business.
This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. For this role, you must be located within a drivable distance to our office in Richfield, Minnesota.

What you'll do
- Serve as the primary administrator and expert for the Placements.io platform
- Configure products, inventory, workflows, permissions, and system settings
- Partner with business teams to improve processes and platform capabilities
- Support integrations with ad serving, CRM, billing, reporting, and data systems
- Troubleshoot issues, manage user support, and deliver training and documentation
- Monitor platform performance, data quality, and opportunities for improvement
Basic qualifications
- 3 years of experience supporting advertising technology, sales operations, or marketing technology platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- 3 years of experience supporting SaaS applications and business users
- 2 years of experience translating business needs into system configurations
- 2 years of experience troubleshooting technical and operational issues
- Experience administering Placements.io
- Experience working within a Retail Media Network
- Experience with advertising order management, campaign management, or ad operations platforms
- Experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM)
- Understanding of digital advertising, campaign workflows, billing, and inventory management
