Location: Fully Remote (Active California Bar License Required)

Position Overview

We are partnered with a growing, plaintiff-side employment law firm seeking a Class Action Employment Attorney to join its fully remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least two years of employment litigation experience who is passionate about advocating for employees in complex wage and hour and PAGA matters. The firm is open to attorneys from either the plaintiff or defense side who are looking to build or continue a career in plaintiff-side class action litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle class action and representative employment litigation involving wage & hour, PAGA, and Labor Code claims.
  • Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
  • Represent employees in complex class and representative actions involving unpaid wages, meal and rest break violations, misclassification, and other employment-related claims.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop litigation strategy and achieve successful client outcomes.
  • Maintain consistent client communication while effectively managing a remote caseload.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California Bar.
  • 2+ years of employment litigation experience, including wage & hour, PAGA, class actions, or related litigation.
  • Plaintiff or defense employment litigation experience will be considered.
  • Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and motion practice skills.
  • Ability to independently manage litigation matters while working collaboratively in a remote environment.
