Description
A confidential plaintiff-side personal injury law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Philadelphia team. The attorney will manage plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through resolution or trial, including automobile collisions, premises liability, and other tort claims in Pennsylvania state and federal courts.
Manage a caseload including client intake, factual investigation, case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiation, and trial preparation.
Conduct client interviews, develop case theories, advise clients on liability and damages, and coordinate with medical providers and experts.
Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda; perform legal research.
Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials; handle court appearances and oral arguments.
Maintain case files, calendars, and e‑filing in case management systems; supervise or mentor junior staff as appropriate.
Juris Doctor (JD) and active admission to the Pennsylvania bar in good standing.
Minimum of 3 years plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience; courtroom and trial experience preferred.
Strong legal writing, analytical, advocacy, client communication, and case management abilities.
Familiarity with Pennsylvania civil procedure, rules of evidence, and e‑filing systems; ability to work onsite in Philadelphia and travel as required.
