Plaintiff's medical malpractice and personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This role requires a self-starter who is hard-working, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a constantly changing workflow. This is an onsite position. Flexible hybrid schedule may be considered after 90 days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-level paralegal duties with expertise in medical malpractice and personal injury cases.
- Handle clerical tasks including scheduling depositions and managing case calendars.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests and pleadings.
- Assist attorneys in case management from inception through trial.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
- Maintain organized and detailed case files.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience as a paralegal in medical malpractice and personal injury law.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research and use of legal databases.
- Bi-lingual skills are a plus but not required.
