The Plane Train Cleaner cleans airport train cars, stations, platforms, and surrounding facilities. This role helps maintain cleanliness, supports passenger safety, and follows all airport and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Clean and sanitize train cars, stations, waiting areas, and platforms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash from assigned areas.
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Clean windows, handrails, seats, and high-touch surfaces.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
- Follow airport security procedures and safety guidelines.
- Respond to emergency cleaning requests when needed.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus but not always required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain airport security clearance if required.
