Lumber Puller / Planer Mill Production Worker

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:45 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Lumber Puller / Production Worker to join a fast-paced planer mill team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that involves pulling lumber from production machinery, inspecting wood for quality, and helping keep production moving safely and efficiently.

Reliable attendance and punctuality are crucial for this position.

Responsibilities

• Pull and handle lumber coming from production machinery

• Inspect lumber for wood grades, defects, and quality concerns

• Perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift

• Keep pace with production demands in a fast-paced environment

• Work safely around industrial machinery and equipment

• Communicate effectively with coworkers

• Work as part of a team to maintain safe and efficient production

• Follow all workplace safety procedures

• Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive work for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to identify or learn to identify wood grades and defects

• Ability to work safely around industrial machinery

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced mill environment

• Steel-toe boots required
