PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

This is a responsible professional planning work at the entry level in a planning program. Work of this class includes researching, analyzing and reporting on various planning projects and programs. Position is in the Transit division and will act as liaison with Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Region VI, concerning Federal grant management and related issues.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Planning or related field and/or some experience in urban planning or related work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION

Examination will be a rating of education and experience through a structured interview.
