Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Planner I with our large power and utilities client in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a 3-year contract with a potential for extension.

Pay:$31.00 - $36.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Schedule: *Full time, hybrid opportunity.

Description:
Seeking a detail-oriented Planner to support project planning, tracking, and reporting. This role partners with project teams to maintain schedules, analyze data, and support delivery of key project milestones. Ideal for candidates eager to build technical skills (Excel, Power BI) in a utility environment. EM would like to see candidates with a GIS and ESRI background. CW will be utilizing ARGUS software.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking
  • Analyze data and produce reports to support decision-making
  • Maintain project documentation and tracking tools
  • Partner with project teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables
  • Identify process improvements and support ad hoc analysis


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical ability
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork


Preferred:
  • Project planning or coordination experience
  • Utility or infrastructure experience
  • Exposure to Power BI or similar tools
  • Strong learning agility and initiative
