The Planner will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to meet customer service level objectives for assigned production series. In addition, this individual will plan, support, monitor, and handle day to day activities for all assigned product lines.  

 

Essential Functions:

  • Interface with ERP system on assigned planner codes to release work orders, forecast demand challenges, outline capacity and interface with Operations teams
  • Update promise dates on existing Purchase and Sales orders
  • Update the assigned backlogs for delivery status and shipping information
  • Follow up and expedite high priority/overdue sales order with suppliers
  • Communicate with Customer Service on Sales Order status
  • Perform other duties as required by the supervisor

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, speak and write English
  • Computer literacy with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Associate’s degree
  • 3+ years experience
