Responsible for ensuring that customer orders are processed, scheduled, monitored, and fulfilled accurately, promptly, and efficiently and in a timely manner in the support of meeting company revenue goal(s). Interface with relevant customers and suppliers on order status, change orders, shipment tracking, delivery, and issue resolution. This is a role that will need a proactive person who is able to work on their own initiative to drive orders through the system and drive continuous improvement within the function. Daily responsibilities include order capture and directing the timely execution of all orders in the queue. Work closely with customers and suppliers to provide accurate sales order information and tracking numbers (when applicable). Work with delivery pick up agencies to assure timely and accurate delivery information (packing slips, certificates of conformance, ETC). Must follow and use controlled documented procedures, processes, and checklists to be sure products ship, are documented and can prove with accuracy what was shipped from the current MRP associated systems. Manage and transacting customer Sales Orders in iHMS and Priority system through shipment process (includes, PO receipt, sales order pick and ship confirmation) including dates, quantities, and notations on order fulfillment history. Review order status and print pick list(s) to ensure timely picks that meet on delivery to the end customers on time. Responsible for selecting mode of transportation, tracking the shipment from pick up through delivery to meet customer requirements (unless otherwise noted by the customer or MRP System). Can write and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Working knowledge/experience in Logistics is an advantage. Knowledge of EPICOR, iHMS and/or /Priority ERP systems.
