The Planner is responsible for supporting customer order fulfillment, production planning, shipping coordination, inventory activities, and site environmental requirements for the Lock Haven, PA, and Cambridge, OH facilities. This position works closely with the Materials Manager, Production Planner, Warehouse Supervisor, and other supply chain team members to help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and requested delivery dates are met.
The Planner will confirm customer orders in the ERP system within 24 hours of receipt, support order processing through shipment, coordinate freight as needed, and provide operational support across site supply chain functions. This role also serves as an on-site environmental contact for the Lock Haven facility and supports inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
LOCATION:Lock Haven, PA
Responsibilities - Confirm customer orders in Omnis within 24 hours of receipt and support the timely fulfillment of customer delivery requirements
- Coordinate with the Materials Manager, Production Planner, Warehouse Supervisor, and other departments to support production and shipping activities
- Arrange freight as needed and complete applicable supply chain transactions in Omnis, including allocations, labels, and other shipping-related activities
- Ensure warehouse operators have the appropriate pre-invoices and documentation for scheduled shipments
- Cross-train with and provide backup support for site supply chain positions, including the Materials Manager
- Train warehouse operators on applicable Omnis transactions and processes
- Support inventory counts, inventory reconciliation, and related activities
- Perform site environmental requirements, including monthly pH/flow reports, SPCC inspections, semiannual stormwater sampling, and annual waste profile updates
- Participate in monthly meetings with the Environmental Team and support environmental reporting and sample collection
- Maintain compliance with ISO, HSEA, OSHA, safety, environmental, and quality procedures
- Follow site PPE requirements and maintain appropriate housekeeping standards
- Report safety incidents and near misses and participate in investigations as needed

QualificationsEDUCATION:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
EXPERIENCE:
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Working knowledge of production schedules and manufacturing operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems used for manufacturing, inventory, and customer order management; experience with Omnis/RCS preferred
- Experience with freight coordination or transportation systems; familiarity with Uber Freight is preferred
- Ability to understand plant equipment capabilities and product lines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and multiple responsibilities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and carriers
- Ability to take ownership of processes and follow tasks through completion
- Ability to serve as an effective liaison between the plant and corporate teams
- Must meet punctuality and attendance requirements
- Ability to work extended hours when business needs require, including weekends, extended shifts, or additional shifts, sometimes on short notice
- Must be available to support operations across shifts as needed in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
- Occasional overnight travel may be required for operational support, audits, projects, training, and leadership meetings
- Anticipated travel to the Cambridge, OH facility approximately once per month
