The Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on long, medium and short range maintenance division projects. Essential duties and responsibilities include liaising with customers for the AAR Airline Maintenance Divisions concerningmaintenance on customer aircraft, evaluating customer work requirements and preparing bids, planning and scheduling the maintenance workload based on availability of aircraft, manpower, parts and priority of the repair or alteration to be accomplished, preparing and distributing maintenance workload packages, and responsible for forecasting and planning needs to maintain proper inventory levels, inventory mix, and overall efficiency of the program. All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or experience includes a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical demands and work environment characteristics include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and moving about the facility. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional business environment and must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and comply with OSHA standards.
