Planner Scheduler

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Planner / Scheduler to join our team and drive the successful execution of complex construction projects. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules, ensuring all phases of construction are coordinated effectively. Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other construction scheduling software to align with project scope and deadlines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to create realistic timelines based on detailed construction plans and resource availability.
• Monitor ongoing project progress, update schedules regularly, and identify potential delays or conflicts early to implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with procurement teams on material deliveries and subcontractors to ensure timely availability of resources aligned with the schedule.
• Analyze project data using Excel for critical path analysis, cost management insights, and schedule performance metrics.
• Assist in contract management by reviewing project scopes, schedules, and change orders to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support risk management efforts by identifying scheduling risks and developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Civil engineering project management software, and other construction management tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, cost management, and contract administration processes.
• Experience with construction site operations and understanding of civil engineering project workflows.
• Expertise in project scheduling techniques including critical path method (CPM) analysis and schedule optimization.
• Skilled in using Bluebeam for document review and collaboration on construction plans.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel data analysis for reporting and tracking project performance.
• Excellent analysis skills for evaluating schedule impacts, resource allocation, and potential delays.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across different phases of construction projects while managing time effectively.
• Familiarity with construction industry standards, safety protocols, and legal considerations related to contracts and project execution.
