As a Planner Scheduler, you will be responsible for:

• Scheduling and dispatching FPL generation resources to balance load and generation economically.
• Evaluating and approving OASIS requests and performing energy accounting functions.
• Planning, scheduling, and tracking to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Developing work orders and leading scheduling processes for maintenance, compliance, and project execution.
• Coordinating power plant operations with FPL's System Operator and PGBU.
• Ensuring rapid recovery from generation loss to comply with NERC requirements.
• Creating and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
• Preparing monthly reports and performing critical path method analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or professional certification.
• 6 - 10 years of experience in scheduling, operations, or power system planning.
• 4 years of experience with Primavera P6 Scheduling software.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead Schedule Review Meetings and coordinate project activities.

Preferences

• Experience in load forecasting, transmission and distribution operations, and real-time system planning.
• Experience in project management with a focus on tracking project plans and performing ad-hoc analyses.
