Planning Coordinator. MONDAY-FRIDAY 7:00AM-4:00PM, $25.00-$34.00 PER HOUR DOE.

The Planner Coordinator will be the key liaison working with cross-functional teams to make sure we are meeting the production plan in the most efficient and productive way possible. Will monitor production schedules to ensure that orders are filled on time and in full and will coordinate with different teams to resolve issues and track deliveries and shipments in the facility to make sure the shipping plan is proceeding normally. The position has the responsibility to keep areas informed and connected with the ultimate goal of satisfying the customer.-

Maintain up-to-date knowledge on company objectives, production strategies and support activities;-

Be the key liaison between CSRs, planners and production supervisors to make sure we are meeting the plan and why we eventually miss plan-

Review job orders and aligned with Planner/Scheduler establish priorities and schedules;-

Monitor production schedules to ensure that orders are filled on time and in full-

Track deliveries and shipments to the facility to make sure they are proceeding normally;-

Track and report production metrics and performance-

Assist in processing customer orders and shipments according to the established schedule;-

Coordinate with Production Supervisor in resolving production planning and control issues;-

Coordinate with Quality to understand Quality issues that is impacting the plan-

Coordinate with Supply Chain to develop inventory control techniques to avoid shortages and excesses;-

Assist in production activity control to meet business and financial objectives;-

Review production/shipping plans to identify and report potential risks-

Work with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on-time and within customer specifications;-

Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations;-

Develop dynamic planning of activities across multi-functional teams and work stations to ensure optimal sequence of work;-

Communicate production updates to Planners and CSRs in a timely manner;-

Monitor execution of job orders and adjust schedules for timely delivery.-

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned-


High School Diploma is Required

Associates or Bachelor degree is preferred.

APICS CPIM/CSCP, Six Sigma, PMP Preferred.

Successful and applicable work experience of 2+ years Manufacturing operations, including production planning, inventory management, and capacity planning - Required

Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems in a production environment (QAD preferred) is Required

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $25.00 to $34.00 per hour, ($52,000 to $70,720 per year), depending on experience. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/a quarterly bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of the hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs./week * 52wks)) for this position is $52,000 to $77,792. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and, by nature, can vary based on company and individual performance and are not a guarantee.-
