We''re seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Financial Analyst to support expense planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for our Marketing organization. What You'll Do

  • Prepare and maintain expense models used for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze monthly expense results against plan, forecast, and prior-year performance.
  • Create and distribute monthly expense reports and provide insights to budget owners and leadership.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to answer questions related to expenses, forecasts, budgets, and financial performance.
  • Perform account reconciliations and support monthly accounting entries.
  • Assist in the development and execution of annual operating plans.
  • Support vendor billing reconciliation activities with key media and production partners.
  • Maintain and enhance expense management databases and reporting tools.
  • Leverage technology, automation, and AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to streamline workflows, improve analysis, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to a culture of data-driven and fact-based decision making by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within financial results.
  • Assist with the development and reporting of SMART goals and key performance metrics.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, expense management, accounting support, budgeting, forecasting, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (primary tool used in this role).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Understanding of basic financial concepts and reporting.
  • Experience using technology to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
  • Ability and willingness to leverage AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, as part of daily analysis and workflow optimization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptable, curious, and proactive approach to learning and problem solving.
  • PLEASE NOTE: This role is HYBRID: Candidates considered MUST RESIDE in the CHICAGOLAND AREA. There is an expectation for the person hired to come on site to the Northbrook, Illinois campus one day per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking processes.
  • Familiarity with database tools such as Quickbase (training provided).
  • Knowledge of SAP or other enterprise financial systems (training provided).
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, balance sheets, and financial statements.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 53,500.00 - 84,625.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
