Planning Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, operations management, or related field
• Six years’ experience in production control or materials management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP software, specifically Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar
• Advanced data analysis and report generation skills, with experience evaluating production data and forecasting
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain coordination
• Experience with SAP, Epicor, or similar ERP systems preferred
• Experience in project management and implementing process improvements is advantageous
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the scheduling of customer orders into production and manage daily manufacturing workloads.
• Manage and develop the production scheduling team, ensuring schedule accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze capacity and demand data to improve production forecasting and capacity planning.
• Maintain and update ERP systems to support material requirements planning and inventory control.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes, inventory levels, and delivery timelines.
