    Description:What You Will Be Doing

    Aeronautics' Production Engineering Central Services (PECS) organization is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer (ME) to join the Planning Central Services team as a Planning Capability Development ME. In this role, you will serve as an ME Planning representative on our Capability Development Teams. You will help shape the next generation Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) application and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for our current programs: F35, F16 and C130. Your work will directly support Lockheed Martin's Digital Transformation initiative by helping to modernize the manufacturing process planning and manufacturing execution processes and system capabilities. The team will be tasked with moving these programs out of our legacy systems (SAP CAMS) and into Siemens Teamcenter and Dassault Systèmes Apriso. This is your opportunity to contribute to a digital transformation project that will shape the future of Lockheed Martin's Aerospace manufacturing.

    • Act as the ME Planning liaison on cross functional Capability Development Teams.
    • Define new manufacturing processes and produce standard systems engineering artifacts required for capability development.
    • Develop job guides and training material; and test software configurations to ensure smooth rollout of new capabilities.
    • Leverage experience with legacy PLM/MES tools to translate functional requirements into next generation system solutions for current and future programs.
    • Provide consulting support and participate in initiatives that transform business practices and enable next generation manufacturing.

    The role is 100% onsite.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
    • Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
    • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance in accordance with business requirements.

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience within a Manufacturing Engineering Planning organization.
    • Hands on experience creating and maintaining manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Work Instructions.
    • Direct experience with Siemens Teamcenter and/or Dassault Systèmes Apriso.
    • Direct experience with SAP CAMS (CAPP and/or SFM)
    • Exposure to change management processes and initiatives.
    • Familiarity with model based engineering environments.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual, multi site team environment.
    • Skill set in authoring job guides and training documentation.
    • Clear understanding of planning roles, responsibilities, and best practices.

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
