It’s Monday morning in Calhoun, and you begin by scanning the weekend production runs and cash position. Before lunch, you’re reviewing AR aging, approving AP batches, and validating that controls around purchasing and receipts are tight. In the afternoon, you’re side‑by‑side with the CFO, modeling scenarios to optimize resources and profitability. You close the day walking through the plant to understand cost drivers first‑hand, reinforcing the procedures that keep our financials GAAP‑compliant and our team aligned.
Most work happens in a comfortable, temperature‑controlled office. You’ll also spend time in the plant, where temperatures and humidity can vary. You’ll use required PPE and collaborate with teams working around equipment and production lines. You can expect normal manufacturing byproducts—noise, dust, vapor, and fumes—mitigated through design engineering and supported by safety equipment that keeps everyone within OSHA standards. The characteristics described here reflect what you’ll encounter while performing the role’s essential functions.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
