The branch manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the branch, ensuring optimal productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This position involves overseeing staff, managing inventory, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Pay Range: 145,000-155,000 + Bonuses, Benefits, Paid Time off and 401(k)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategize, coordinate, direct, and ensure optimal day-to-day operations to consistently surpass the expectations of our customers.
  • Enhance production, asset capacity, and adaptability while reducing unnecessary expenses and upholding existing quality benchmarks.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to streamline workflow, improve productivity, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Support branch employees and key suppliers in adhering to CTDI Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and local legal, regulatory, and customer agreement requirements, while providing regular performance updates to senior management on operational initiatives.
  • Communicates effectively with Corporate management and customers to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), meeting customer expectations, and promptly resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Lead and motivate warehouse staff, offering training, and performance feedback to cultivate a positive and high-performing team culture.
  • Monitor branch budget and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to improve profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports, such as P&L statements and inventory valuation, to assess branch performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Accountable for surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while ensuring accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
  • Actively participate in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to foster and uphold a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Logistics, Procurement, and Workforce Operations, to synchronize warehouse operations and fulfill customer needs and demands effectively.
  • Provide the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts.
  • Collaborates with Corporate to facilitate escalations involving corporate resources (IT, network, etc.) for troubleshooting or process improvement purposes.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technological tools for inventory tracking, performance metric monitoring, and report generation to facilitate analysis and decision[1]making.
  • Consistently engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of the latest production management best practices and concepts.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

    Required Skills and Experience

    • 8+ years of proven Operations management experience.
    • 5+ years working in a high-volume, fast-paced production, manufacturing, distribution, warehousing or service environment) including experience working with P&L/budgets.
    • Demonstrates a track record of driving operational excellence and delivering measurable results.
    • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, adept at skillfully communicating, inspiring, and exerting influence across all levels of the organization.
    • Strong focus on delivering results.
    • Proactively adept problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, combined with a strategic mindset and a steadfast commitment to achieving results and fostering continuous improvement.
    • Advanced understanding of Project Management principles and the criticality of deadline prioritization.
    • Highly skilled in effectively managing a challenging workload, prioritizing tasks, and consistently meeting deadlines.
    • Profound customer interaction skills coupled with effective communication abilities.
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Experience in fostering strong coaching relationships and advancing employee development initiatives.
    • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), MSOffice (Word, Excel, Access and Project), report preparation, and data analysis.
    • Knowledge with OSHA regulations and standards.

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Experience working with UKG and Kronos.
    • Experience in supervising temporary staff.
    • Technical background.

    Educational Requirements

    • BS Degree in Operations, Supply Chain or related field is preferred.

    Physical Demands and Working Conditions

    • Warehouse environment.
    • May require travel.
