Ready to be the go-to problem solver for a busy plant?
You’ll work on-site in Richmond, IL, reporting to the Facilities/Maintenance Manager as part of our Manufacturing & Operations team. If you like staying hands-on, leading safety by example, and learning new techniques through ongoing training, this role is for you.
What you will do
Own the preventive maintenance schedule—always aligned to company, local, state, and federal safety standards.
Handle routine facility upkeep and minor alteration projects.
Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems and building automation equipment.
What you have
Preferably 5+ years in general building repair.
Your own tool set, plus strong diagnostic skills.
Practical electrical and mechanical know-how; you can read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
Comfort with computers and solid math fundamentals.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight; available for weekends and overtime when needed.
Physical and environmental expectations
Capable of exerting 50–100 lbs. occasionally, 25–50 lbs. frequently, and 10–20 lbs. constantly.
Standing/walking may comprise up to 90% of your workday.
This position is fully on-site in Richmond, IL.
