Plant/Manufacturing Controller
We are seeking an experienced Controller to join a growing food manufacturing organization. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive financial performance, operational visibility, and strategic decision-making.
This position is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing finance professional with strong cost accounting expertise, a deep understanding of plant operations, and experience supporting manufacturing leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting and financial reporting functions for the facility
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Provide operational and financial analysis to support business decisions
- Monitor manufacturing KPIs and identify opportunities to improve profitability
- Partner closely with plant leadership to drive financial performance
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Coordinate with external accounting partners and auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA strongly preferred
- Previous experience as a Plant Controller, Manufacturing Controller, or similar manufacturing finance leadership role
- Strong cost accounting experience within a food manufacturing environment required
- Experience with inventory management, production costing, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
