Were looking for a Plant Controller to join our North America Finance team, supporting our Chicago Heights, IL manufacturing site. This is a highly visible, high-impact role where youll partner closely with plant leadership to drive cost performance, strengthen inventory accuracy, and deliver insights that directly influence operational decisions.

Youll be a key financial partner to the sitebringing clarity to performance, enabling smarter decision-making, and helping the plant deliver sustainable results.

How youll help us grow

  • Own the month-end close for the plant, including volume reporting, production variances, and overhead analysis
  • Deliver clear, actionable financial and variance analysis to support operational decision-making
  • Monitor performance using scorecards and key financial metrics
  • Partner with plant leadership to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting activities for the site
  • Own and continuously improve the plant overhead model
  • Support capital planning by evaluating, approving, and tracking capital expenditure projects
  • Lead production batch variance analysis and support yield and material usage improvements
  • Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, reconciliations, and BOM accuracy
  • Ensure strong internal controls, policy compliance, and audit support
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and systems

Were looking for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys working closely with operations.

Youll bring:

  • 510+ years of experience in manufacturing finance
  • A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory, and ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong data analytics capability (Power BI preferred)
  • A proven ability to partner with and influence operational leaders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in agriculture, chemicals, or industrial manufacturing
  • CPA (or equivalent) and/or MBA

What we offer:

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across different U.S. geographic markets. The base salary range for this position is $95,200 to $135,000 per year, with actual compensation determined by factors such as location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
