Key Responsibilities for the Plant Controller:

• 
  
• Lead all plant accounting and financial reporting activities, including month-end close and financial statement preparation
• 
  
• Partner with operations leadership to analyze manufacturing costs, labor efficiency, inventory, and plant performance metrics
• 
  
• Develop and maintain annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• 
  
• Ensure accurate inventory accounting, cycle count programs, and physical inventory processes
• 
  
• Monitor standard costs and support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
• 
  
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making
• 
  
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• 
  
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff within the facility
• 
  

Qualifications for the Plant Controller:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 
  
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within a manufacturing environment
• 
  
• Publicly traded experience would be nice to see
