Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations of the plant, including budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
2. Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
3. Develop and maintain standard costing methods and inventory control processes.
4. Collaborate with plant management to optimize financial performance and strategic position.
5. Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices, with a focus on automation and process efficiency.
6. Prepare detailed reports, both periodic and ad-hoc, for senior management, highlighting issues and providing potential solutions.
7. Ensure all financial operations comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
8. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
9. Conduct regular risk assessments, highlighting any potential issues to senior management.
10. Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
11. Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or higher education is preferred not required.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
4. Strong understanding of cost control, standard costing, and inventory control.
5. Proven experience in process improvement and automation.
6. Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
7. Experience with creating financial statements and knowledge of GAAP.
8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
12. Experience with ERP systems
