Plant Controller

An established manufacturer is seeking a Plant Controller to lead finance for a production site supporting government programs. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll own the site's revenue, costing, close, and forecasting, lead a small finance team, and serve as the go-to finance partner for site and corporate leadership as the business scales and moves onto a new ERP platform.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience in manufacturing, defense/aerospace, or construction
• Prior experience as a plant, site, or division controller
• Experience managing direct reports
• Hands-on ASC 606 over-time revenue recognition on long-term contracts (EAC/ETC, cost-to-cost)
• Strong standard costing, inventory, and variance analysis experience
• Confident communicator who can present results to senior and corporate leadership
• Must be a U.S. person
• CPA, FAR/DFARS/CAS exposure, and ERP implementation experience a plus

Key Responsibilities
• Own over-time revenue recognition and estimate-to-complete reviews for multi-year contracts
• Manage standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance reporting for the site
• Lead the monthly close, budget, forecast, and annual operating plan
• Partner with the site GM and operations leaders on KPIs, cost reduction, and scenario planning
• Maintain internal controls, indirect rates, and audit readiness
• Serve as finance lead on an upcoming ERP rollout
• Lead and develop a two-person finance team

Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary: $150,000 to $170,000, DOE
• Annual bonus eligibility
