Your primary focus will be on inspecting, maintaining, and executing preventative care on machinery and systems across multiple departments. You will be installing and programming cutting-edge electrical equipment and interpreting schematics for precise wiring installation. Familiarity with automation and the ability to read PLC ladder logic programs is crucial. We value candidates with a journeyman electrician certification and substantial hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed records of tasks performed, including diagnostics and resolutions.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of electrical situations using appropriate testing tools and blueprints.
- Uphold a safe workplace by following company policies and OSHA standards, and reporting any violations.
- Use ladders and lifts for tasks that require elevation.
- Accurately measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems as needed.
- Execute the installation and programming of a broad range of electrical equipment.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance checks and interpretations of PLC ladder logic programs.
- Construct and maintain a wide variety of electrical circuits, equipment, and systems.
- Diagnose and repair defective equipment using electrical tests; maintain proficiency in electrical distribution systems.
- Prepare necessary documentation like work orders and usage reports to ensure smooth operation and record-keeping.
- Lead and mentor team members during collaborative projects.
- Ensure a pristine and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
- Competence in reading technical blueprints.
- Completion of a background check and drug testing.
- Active driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Proficient in operating lifts and forklifts such as Toyota and Genie.
- Robust physical and mechanical capabilities.
- Extensive experience in industrial settings is highly desirable.
- Committed to working safely, forecasting maintenance needs, and managing emerging issues efficiently.
- Ability to engage in physical tasks, including standing for long durations and lifting substantial weights.
- Keep up with advancements in electrical technologies and systems like PLCs and HMIs.
- In-depth knowledge of various codes and regulations.
- A high school diploma or GED is required along with journeyman certification or equivalent experience.
