Plant Electrician – Night Shift
Thursday–Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

A local manufacturer is seeking a skilled and dependable Plant Electrician to join their maintenance team in Crossville, TN. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where reliability and problem-solving are key.

Responsibilities:
-Plan and perform new or modified electrical installations while following local electrical codes and safety standards
-Install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, control equipment, and distribution systems
-Measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit and pull wiring through conduit systems
-Splice wires, connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment, and install grounding leads
-Install and maintain control and distribution equipment such as switches, relays, and circuit breakers
-Test electrical systems and circuits using diagnostic equipment to ensure compatibility and safety
-Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment or electrical systems to minimize downtime
-Observe equipment operation to detect hazards or the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
-Read and follow diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics
-Assist with structural repairs such as cutting or welding steel members when necessary
-Maintain a safe work environment and follow all plant safety procedures
-Perform other maintenance duties as assigned

Requirements:
-Certificate from a technical school or equivalent combination of education and related electrical experience
-Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems preferred
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, safety rules, and maintenance instructions
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-Ability to use electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment
-Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery and loud noise levels
-Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
-Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
-Dependable with strong attendance and a team-oriented mindset
