Plant Engineer

We have an immediate opening for a Plant Engineer. This role is a field-focused engineering and operations position. The Plant Engineer is responsible for supporting commissioning, troubleshooting, and managing plant turnarounds at approximately 100 plants using industrial gas product lines. Travel up to 50% from Eastern New York.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Commission small plant installations
• Champion productivity initiatives for the region
• Utilize an EAM (Enterprise Asset Management system) to determine critical spares
• Plan and schedule plant turnarounds
• Resolve engineering alerts
• Engineering project creation, changes, and approvals
• Troubleshooting plant operation issues
• Training operations personnel

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2 years technical work experience (Engineering or Operations)
• Highly organized self-starter
• Good oral and written communication skills
• strong attention to detail
• Must have conflict resolution experience, while establishing synergy with all involved parties
• Travel up to 50%
• Occasional phone calls during off hours
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Two years of operations experience in an industrial setting
