Job Summary:
  • Seeking an experienced Plant Engineering leader to oversee maintenance operations, equipment reliability, and facility infrastructure within a fast-paced, high-output production environment. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership to a team of approximately 20 maintenance professionals, with a strong emphasis on maximizing equipment performance, improving reliability, and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Job Duties:
  • Maintenance Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, promoting a strong safety culture and technical excellence.
  • Reliability Strategy: Establish and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment uptime and longevity.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and drive key operational metrics such as OEE, MTBF, and overall equipment reliability to enhance plant performance.
  • Capital Projects: Manage capital improvement initiatives, including new equipment installations, facility enhancements, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards and quality regulations, including OSHA and relevant food safety guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and control maintenance-related costs through proactive initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in maintenance, engineering, or plant leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environments; food or beverage industry experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of CMMS platforms, capital project execution, and maintenance budgeting.
