Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across utility systems including:
  • Boilers
  • HVAC
  • Compressed Air
  • Glycol
  • Chilled Water
  • Wastewater
  • Reverse Osmosis (RO)
  • Nitrogen Systems
  • Manage facility infrastructure upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Plan and coordinate major plant shutdown activities.
  • Lead capital projects from scope development through execution and closeout.
  • Manage projects ranging from approximately $5,000 to $50 million.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, EHS, and external contractors.
  • Support plant expansion and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Maintain engineering documentation and technical drawings.
  • Develop and maintain long-range capital plans.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering environments.
  • Experience leading capital and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in utility systems engineering and facility infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering compliance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple capital projects from concept through completion.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, EHS, contractors, and engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:
  • Food and beverage manufacturing experience.
  • Aseptic manufacturing experience.
  • FDA-regulated utility systems knowledge.
  • CMMS experience, preferably Infor or Hexagon EAM.
  • PE License.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Minimal travel capability (0–5%).
