The Plant Engineering Director oversees Maintenance and Engineering operations at a fast-paced plant in Sioux Falls, SD, with a salary of $160-210K plus bonus.
- Lead capital projects ensuring safety, food safety, and environmental standards are met on time and within budget.
- Implement advanced maintenance strategies like Preventive, Predictive Maintenance, and TPM to optimize equipment performance.
- Manage and develop engineering teams through coaching, safety initiatives, and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Drive continuous improvement by tracking KPIs related to equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
- Troubleshoot operational issues proactively to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Require 10+ years of engineering management experience, a relevant degree, technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields, and strong leadership abilities. Knowledge of maintenance systems, SAP, and the Meat Industry is preferred.
