Ready to orchestrate plant upgrades that keep the grid humming?
Location: Denver, CO — Hybrid
Question: Can you take an emergent need from the control room whiteboard to a safely commissioned asset—on time and on budget—while managing a slate of other capital efforts? If yes, this role is built for you.
Your mission
- How will you manage a portfolio? By planning and executing multiple small-to-medium capital projects from initiation through completion—while contributing to larger base and major initiatives.
- How will you align stakeholders? By partnering with Operations and Reliability Engineering to define needs, write scopes/justifications, and set priorities in daily planning (POD) meetings.
- How will you ensure rigor? By producing technical specifications, cost estimates, and documentation—and by navigating internal capital request and approval workflows for emergent work.
- How will you deliver? By running bid processes, selecting vendors, procuring equipment/materials, and sequencing deliveries, installations, and site activities.
- How will you verify outcomes? By overseeing contractors for safe, spec-compliant execution; supporting commissioning; and driving project closeout.
- How will you track performance? By using Excel, SharePoint, and project systems for budget/schedule control, and by reviewing drawings in systems such as ProjectWise.
