Plant Equipment Maintenance Technician — Electro-Mechanical

Where: Clackamas, OR
Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
Compensation: $28–$32 per hour DOE

• Reduce downtime through disciplined preventive maintenance and fast, accurate troubleshooting.

• Support throughput by prioritizing maintenance tasks aligned with production schedules.

Your Day-to-Day

• Execute PMs and inspections on conveyors, servo motor systems, and supporting plant equipment.
• Tackle repairs using mechanical skills, basic electrical work, welding, and light carpentry.
• Operate AC/DC welders, oxygen/acetylene cutting tools, forklifts, and standard shop tools safely.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on 120/208/240/480-volt systems; read manuals and schematics to locate faults.
• Complete accurate maintenance documentation and communicate clearly with team members.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of verifiable industrial mechanics, industrial welding, and industrial hydraulics experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent education, training, and hands-on experience).
• License: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical & Safety Readiness

• Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly; push/pull loaded materials as needed.
• Comfortably climb ladders, use catwalks, and navigate around/under/on top of equipment in a dynamic plant.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and high attention to detail.
• Read and write in English to follow safety guidance and complete work orders.
• Commit to a high standard of personal and team safety.
