Ready for a challenge?

Can you bring a new press online from a stack of drawings, track down a phantom fault in a PLC input, and restore a leaky hydraulic circuit—before it impacts delivery? If so, you’ll be a key force in our plant’s reliability story.

Your Mission

  1. Get machines online: Translate complex blueprints; install, align, and connect utilities; verify all mechanical/electrical hookups; bring assets to a safe, operable state.
  2. Keep them running: Lead preventive and routine maintenance with production cells; teach best practices that reduce unplanned downtime.
  3. Fix the tough stuff: From 24 VDC/24 VAC circuits to 480V 3‑phase power, from hydraulic valves/pumps to pneumatic regulators—diagnose, adjust, and repair. Replace worn parts and add safety features where recommended.
  4. Support production: Operate equipment when needed to protect customer commitments.

What You Bring

  • Electrical troubleshooting across low voltage controls to 480V 3‑phase; schematic/print fluency.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems expertise.
  • IMM troubleshooting (Sumitomo preferred; any IMM experience valued).
  • Own tools/toolbox; conduit installation with proper circuit sizing; pipefitting (galvanized, copper, PVC).
  • Experience with air compressors, HVAC, and water tower systems.
  • PLC experience for fault isolation.
  • Supplier communication and parts procurement.
  • Forklift and man lift capability.

How We Operate

  • Safety leadership: report injuries/near misses immediately; raise unsafe conditions to Group Leads, Value Stream Managers, or EHS.
  • High-Performance Teams: collaborate to improve processes and the work experience.
  • Data discipline: record completions, quantities, rejects, and hours daily.
  • 5S mindset: maintain clean, orderly spaces; return tools to shadow boards; sweep as needed.
  • Dependability: regular attendance and punctuality; overtime when customers require it.

Education & Abilities

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent technical schooling; or 2–3 years of machining/maintenance; or a combination of both.
  • Language skills to analyze technical/business content and regulations; write reports/procedures; present to diverse groups.
  • Math skills including whole numbers, fractions, decimals; compute rate/ratio/percent; read bar graphs.
  • Reasoning to define issues, collect data, establish facts, and interpret technical instructions (math/diagram) with abstract and concrete variables.
  • This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Physical Expectations

You’ll spend most of your time on your feet with frequent movement and hands-on work:

  • Stand constantly; walk frequently; sit occasionally.
  • Frequent manual manipulation, reaching outward/over-shoulder, and climbing.
  • Occasional crawling, squatting/kneeling, and bending.
  • Lift/carry: 0–10 lbs (frequent); 11–20 lbs (frequent); 21–50 lbs (frequent); 51–100 lbs (not applicable); over 100 lbs (not applicable).
  • Push/pull: 0–12 lbs (frequent); 13–25 lbs (frequent); 26–40 lbs (frequent); 41–100 lbs (occasional).
  • Near/color vision and tactile acuity; consistent use of PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes, and task-based PPE).

Work Setting

Manufacturing floor with loud noise and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes/airborne particles, chemicals, heat, and vibration.
