Plant Equipment Reliability Technician I–II
Where: Richmond, VA
Pay: $22.38–$27.38 per hour
Schedule: 4x10s (40 hours/week) with early AM or early PM starts; flexibility for weekends/holidays

What you’ll tackle
- Adhere to safety regulations, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
- Execute preventive maintenance: inspections, adjustments, and component replacements.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Partner with Operations to support overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Document all work: PMs, repairs, and inspections.
- Coordinate with fellow techs; share knowledge and provide technical support.
- Mentor junior technicians to build capability across the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus
- At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical aptitude; solid grasp of mechanical/electrical principles
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with basic hand tools
- Positive, team-focused attitude and effective communication
- Physically able to meet job demands
- Capable of operating Forklifts and Scissor Lifts
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
