Job Description
JSG is currently seeking an Ergonomist for our client in the Bowling Green, KY area. This is a direct hire opportunity with relocation assistance provided. The incumbent will be responsible for the application of the following concepts: biomechanics, physiological and postural adjustments, functional anatomy, and circadian rhythms.
Required:
- BS: Kinesiology, Industrial Engineering, or Occupational H&S
- Emphasis in Ergonomics or equivalent
- Knowledge of various ergonomic assessment methods
- e.g. Snook tools, NIOSH equations, and RULA.
- 5 + years’ experience in industrial ergonomics
- Project management skills
- Proven ability to coach at multiple levels
- Proficiencies: MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems
- Office and General factory environment experience
- Must be able to work flexible hours on short notice
- Must be open to Shift Work
- Must have the ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, and occasional bending and stooping.
