About the Job

The Plant Leader drives safe, efficient plant operations while developing a high-performing team, ensuring product quality, and leading continuous improvement and capital projects.

  • Lead day-to-day plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability
  • Develop and mentor team members to build technical capability and accountability
  • Partner across engineering, maintenance, production, and logistics for aligned execution
  • Drive process stability, troubleshooting, and ongoing OPEX improvement initiatives
  • Oversee capital projects, including planning, budgeting, stakeholder alignment, and execution
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (MSHA/OSHA)
  • Establish KPIs, SOPs, and performance standards to meet production and customer expectations
  • Optimize energy and material usage while maintaining operational excellence

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a process manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience with bulk material handling equipment
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Technical knowledge relevant to plant operations; electrical experience or certifications a plus
  • Proven ability to lead projects, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement
