Plant Maintenance & Automation Technician

What will I do each week?

• Plan and complete preventive maintenance for production and facility systems on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns—mechanical and electrical—to keep lines moving.
• Install, modify, and maintain mechanical and facility equipment as needs change.
• Run routine inspections to confirm equipment safety, reliability, and performance.
• Record every task in accurate maintenance logs that satisfy company and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance so maintenance practices align with food safety requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by proposing equipment upgrades and process improvements.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and wear appropriate PPE—no exceptions.
• Participate in training to stay current with best practices and new technologies.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Handle additional duties assigned by management.
