Plant Maintenance Specialist — Food Manufacturing Equipment

Work pattern: 2-2-3, 12-hour nights, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM

Your mission

Own equipment performance from install through continuous improvement. In this role, you’ll blend troubleshooting savvy with preventive discipline and collaborative leadership to keep our lines delivering quality, on time.

Impact you will make

• Install and maintain production machinery and facility systems.
• Respond rapidly to unplanned breakdowns and carry out scheduled repairs.
• Perform basic machinist operations.
• Troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic domains.
• Pinpoint faults, replace/repair parts, test functionality, and fine-tune settings.
• Execute preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Complete plumbing maintenance and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Operate hand/power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely.
• Identify and report abnormal operations or defective materials to supervisors.
• Model safety excellence—adhere to regulations, practice LOTO, and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Participate in new line startups, product and packaging trials, and equipment installations.
• Collaborate with operators to meet production schedules, troubleshoot, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
• Lead by coaching operators on basic PM and making setting adjustments that improve throughput and efficiency.
• Support equipment tear-down for sanitation and reassembly to ensure procedures are followed and changeovers are minimized.
