    What you'll do

    Learn all aspects of the manufacturing process!

    • Perform troubleshooting, breakdown repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance, including work orders, accurate time tracking and parts consumption
    • Inspect production equipment and plant facilities to ensure a safe working environment
    • Work both independently and lead a team demonstrating safe work practices
    • Accurate reporting of maintenance work performed and material and parts used on a daily basis and any associated JSA and/or SOP
    • Participate in all housekeeping activities
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Skills and Requirements

    • Working knowledge of machine operations in a manufacturing environment

    • Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs [CMMS]

    • Basic knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot the following:

    • 24 VDC, 110 and 480 3 Phase VAC electrical systems

    • Hydraulic Systems

    • Pneumatic Systems

    • Ability to fabricate steel using a torch, welder and associated tooling

    • Basic ability to read prints/schematics of the following types

    • Electrical

    • Hydraulic

    • Pneumatic

    • Structural

    • Ability to safely operate power tools

    • Possess own set of hand tools

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    Qualifications

    Experience

    • 5 years: Industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment- Preferred
    • 3 years: Proven track record of leading co-workers in a manufacturing environment

    Education

    • High School Equivalent or higher- Required
    • Technical/other training or higher- Required
