What you'll do
Learn all aspects of the manufacturing process!
Perform troubleshooting, breakdown repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance, including work orders, accurate time tracking and parts consumption
Inspect production equipment and plant facilities to ensure a safe working environment
Work both independently and lead a team demonstrating safe work practices
Accurate reporting of maintenance work performed and material and parts used on a daily basis and any associated JSA and/or SOP
Participate in all housekeeping activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
Working knowledge of machine operations in a manufacturing environment
Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs [CMMS]
Basic knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot the following:
24 VDC, 110 and 480 3 Phase VAC electrical systems
Hydraulic Systems
Pneumatic Systems
Ability to fabricate steel using a torch, welder and associated tooling
Basic ability to read prints/schematics of the following types
Electrical
Hydraulic
Pneumatic
Structural
Ability to safely operate power tools
Possess own set of hand tools
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
Experience
5 years: Industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment- Preferred
3 years: Proven track record of leading co-workers in a manufacturing environment
