For more information on A-Gas, please visit us at www.agas.com/us. What will you do?We are seeking a maintenance technician for our Bowling Green, OH facility to carry out repairs for all operations and building equipment to ensure the smooth running of the site.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose problems with malfunctioning equipment, troubleshooting, conducting repairs and maintenance assigned, including routine inspection and maintenance including filling equipment, hoses, filters, pumps and structural damageMaintain quality control of site equipment and perform reactive maintenance to ensure the safe and continued running of all plant equipmentPerform tests to confirm that systems are leak tight, weighing correctly, and functioning to design and within test. Ensure all tests are carried out and recorded as appropriate.Maintain preventative and open maintenance request logs (work orders) to accurately track all services provided and forecast future projects completion. Assist in implementation and development of preventative maintenanceInstall, repair, and maintain all types of equipment, including new production equipment and overseeing contractorsFabricating parts for repairs and machine upgradesDemonstrate the ability to be a safety leader by fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring a safe work environment with a commitment to zero injuries, emissions, and leaksExperience, Knowledge, and QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2-5 years' experience in similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environmentDriver's licenseWorking knowledge of mechanical pumps, hoses, motors, valves, connections and fittingsExperience troubleshooting and repairing/replacing valves, pumps, gauges and instrumentationPhysically capable and available to work overtime as needed including weekends, and eveningsMicrosoft Office proficiencyKnowledge of safety and compliance policies (ex. lock out/tag out, confined space entry, OSHA, Hot Work)Working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniquesWorking experience of electrical (tracing circuits, running conduit, calibration), plumbing, welding (MIG, Brazing), boilers (steam), and air systems and fabricationProblem diagnoses and solving abilityMust be able to continuously stand, bend and twist and be able to lift items up to 50 poundsWorking knowledge of transferring liquids and gasses from large bulk tanks, ISO's, and containers to cylinders and storage tanksIn-dept knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance, electrical and hydraulic systemsStrong electrical and mechanical skills, familiarity with using PLC diagnostic toolsMust be able to obtain EPA 608 certification within 6 months of employmentWhy A-Gas?Monday-Friday, first shift hours are from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMCompensation: Starting pay at $27.00+ an hour and up based on experienceComprehensive Benefits:Affordable health coverage for employees and your familyLow-cost Dental and Vision benefits401k retirement with company matchWork-Life Balance:10 Paid Holidays, plus 2 flex days for your useGenerous paid time off for personal, vacation, parental, and medical leaveWe're Committed to Your Growth:Comprehensive training program to help you learn and excelOpportunities for certifications and professional developmentSafety First Mindset:All required PPE is provided, including an annual boot allowance, gloves, glasses, and uniformsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkWe are an equal opportunity employer.
