Who You Are You are a veteran operations executive who thrives on the shop floor, values organizational loyalty, and avoids corporate politics. You possess:
- 8+ Years of Success: Proven track record as a Plant Manager or Operations Director in heavy industrial fabrication or manufacturing ecosystems.
- Lean Architecture Mastery: A verifiable history of using VSM, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis to drive measurable efficiency and eliminate waste.
- Technical Instincts: Deep familiarity with robust metal fabrication, welding workflows, and thermal/heat exchange processes.
- End-to-End Fluency: Competence managing production scheduling, material purchasing, capital equipment evaluation (CapEx), and freight logistics.
- Elite Presence: The communication skills needed to mentor teams and unite engineering, production, and corporate executives.
Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years as a Plant Manager or Operations Director in industrial manufacturing/OEM environments.
- Technical Skills: Management of custom shop floors featuring metal fabrication, machining, and welding. Thermal or heat exchange background preferred.
- Lean Expertise: Proven track record implementing Continuous Improvement tools (VSM, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis) to optimize efficiency.
- Operations: Competence handling production scheduling, purchasing, CapEx evaluations, and freight logistics.
- Stability: Stable career history showing loyalty, averaging 3+ years per employer with no job-hopping.
- Location: Must live within 45 minutes of Richfield, WI (100% onsite; no relocation).
- Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card holder only.
