Description

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production, engineering, maintenance, quality, materials, health and safety, and support functions.
• Ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved.
• Drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles.
• Build, develop, and mentor leadership teams and plant personnel.
• Establish clear goals, expectations, and accountability across all levels of the organization.
• Foster a positive workplace culture focused on engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Promote proactive risk management and workplace safety initiatives.
• Manage plant performance against operational and financial objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, and profitability.
• Support strategic planning and execution of business initiatives.
• Lead process improvement efforts focused on efficiency, waste reduction, cost savings, and operational excellence.
• Utilize data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive sustainable results.
• Support successful product launches, engineering changes, and operational transitions.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure business objectives are achieved.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing REQUIRED.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including direct plant management responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational performance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and plant performance metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business systems.

Job Offer

• Base salary $130,000 - $170,000 depending on level of experience
• Annual bonus incentive based on company performance + personal metrics (~30%)
• 3 weeks PTO + company holidays (including plant shutdown)
