This is a Plant Manager position with a chemical manufacturing organization in the North Suburbs of Chicago. As a part of a larger, global organization, our client is looking to bolster their operations leadership team with a new Plant Manager.

Client Details

Our client is an industry leading manufacture, serving customers globally providing them with various solutions for customers on the back end of their manufacturing processes. As a leading producer of chemical based products, they are seeking a tenured plant manager to lead all operations in a safe and compliant manner to support future growth!

Description

  • Oversee all plant specific operations on the floor - leading KPIs for safety, efficiency, quality and cost.
  • Provide senior leadership to deliver site specific objectives from corporate leadership
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, EPA and GMP requirements
  • Manage plant budgets and captial projects
  • Ensure top-level customer experiences from an internal operational perspective, - top quality, on-time shipping, etc
  • Lead business planning for the site for immediate, 2 year, and 5 year plans

Profile

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in a leadership capacity within a Chemical manufacturing environment
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemisty, or realted technical field
  • Knowledge of ISO, OSHA, EPA, GMP, and other regulations strongly preferred
  • Ability to lead KPIs for safety, quality, operations, efficiency, cost, delivery, etc
  • Strong project management skills with the ablity to implement and execute corporate stragegy projects
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

Job Offer

  • Salary up to $160,000 depending on experience
  • Annual bonus target up to 25% or more based on company/personal performance
