Description
- Lead all day-to-day plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable performance across the facility
- Develop and execute the site's Annual Operating Plan to meet customer requirements and business objectives
- Provide direct leadership for production, maintenance, quality, warehousing, product development, and materials planning functions
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, cost performance, and operational efficiency
- Manage plant resources and operating costs while maintaining high service levels and product quality standards
- Develop, coach, and mentor employees to maximize engagement and performance
- Partner with sales, marketing, product development, and customers to support business growth and customer satisfaction
- Serve as the site's Process Technology leader, ensuring long-term operational capability and technical expertise
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Profile
- 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience within the chemical manufacturing industry
- Proven experience leading EHS, production, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance and achieve business objectives
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical discipline preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Knowledge of chemical process safety and the safe handling of chemicals preferred
