Our client, a sustainable packaging solutions company is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have good job stability, strong interpersonal skills and commitment to Lean Mfg.  which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant Manager

Location: Hammond, IN

Pay Range: $175-220/k + bonus

What’s the Job?

• Direct and coordinate the activities of the Management staff in Safety, Production, Maintenance, CI, Administration (Finance and HR)
• Implement Change Management across the plant. 
• Maximize the output of the facility in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Provide direct oversight management of capital projects in the facility.
• Direct and facilitate activities of the staff and actively participate to focus on optimizing plant operations, resolve employee issues and other problem resolution.

What’s Needed?

• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to focus on understanding and exceeding expectations of the customers.
• Self-Starter, resourceful, organized and ability to manage change.
• 8 to 10 years manufacturing experience and 5 to 7 years in a leadership position.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, or equivalent. Preferred
