Description

Plant ManagerThe Plant Manager will report into the Senior Director of Operations and be responsible for:Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, CNC programmers, machinists, and production personnel.Foster a culture of safety, engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.Provide overall leadership for machine shop operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.Monitor and improve key performance indicators related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and equipment utilization.Lead manufacturing operations supporting multiple customers and product lines in a dynamic contract manufacturing environment.Partner with Engineering and Program Management teams to support new product introductions and production launches.Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production Planning, Procurement, and Operations teams to improve manufacturing performance.Lead capital equipment planning, justification, implementation, and facility improvement initiatives.Identify opportunities to increase capability, capacity, quality, and operational efficiency.The successful applicant:Has 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within a machine shop environment.Has hands-on understanding of CNC milling, CNC turning, and precision machining operations.Has proven leadership experience within a contract manufacturing environment.Has experience leading supervisors, programmers, machinists, and production teams.Has demonstrated success managing capital equipment and facility improvement projects.Possesses strong communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.Has a track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.What's on offer:Competitive compensationComprehensive benefits planCareer growth opportunitiesAccess to high level management401K matchExcellent work life balance
